Tokens convert at the same rate as their earning rate. This means:

  • A half-day workshop (€35 full rate) = 2,450 UBECrc
  • One month of sensor hosting (~21,400 UBECrc) covers multiple workshop participations
  • Regular phenomenological observers can accumulate significant participation credit

Why Blockchain?

Blockchain records every observation, creating permanent, trustworthy environmental data. This is not technology for technology's sake — it's about recognizing that systematic attention to environmental conditions, careful documentation of observations, and sustained care for ecosystem health create value that should be recognized.

In conventional economic thinking, someone spending time monitoring birds, measuring soil moisture, or maintaining habitat is not productive unless they can convert their observations into money. Their work is literally worthless in economic terms. The token system asserts that this work creates genuine value.
