1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the website erdpuls.org and all related services of Erdpuls Müllrose, operated by Michel Garand.

2. Description of Service

Erdpuls Müllrose is a center for sustainability literacy, citizen science, and reciprocal economics. The website offers:

  • Information about educational offerings and events
  • The Collective Threshold Model for community funding of offerings
  • Registration and participation in offerings
  • Contribution options in Euro, UBECrc tokens, or contribution hours

3. Collective Threshold Model

3.1 How It Works

In the Collective Threshold Model, a minimum amount (threshold) is set for each offering. Interested participants can contribute anonymously. The offering takes place when the threshold is reached.

3.2 Anonymity

Contributions are processed anonymously. Individual contribution amounts are not stored or displayed. Only the aggregate total is visible.

3.3 Contribution Forms

Contributions can be made in the following forms:

  • Euro: Direct financial contributions
  • UBECrc Tokens: Earned through environmental monitoring and citizen science (70 UBECrc = €1)
  • Contribution Hours: Pre-arranged work contributions

3.4 Refunds

If the threshold is not reached, Euro contributions are fully refunded. Token contributions are credited back to the account. For reached thresholds and completed offerings, no refunds are issued.

4. Registration

Registration requires a valid email address. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and the security of your account.

5. Code of Conduct

When using our services, you agree to:

  • Not provide false information
  • Not abuse or manipulate the services
  • Respect other users
  • Not distribute illegal content

6. Intellectual Property

Educational materials are available under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. The "Erdpuls Müllrose" brand and logo are protected.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for damages arising from the use of our services, to the extent permitted by law. This does not apply to damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

8. Changes

We reserve the right to change these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be announced on the website.

9. Applicable Law

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent legally permissible, Müllrose or Frankfurt (Oder).
